Introduction Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) variable-rate spraying technology, as the development direction of aviation for plant protection in the future, has been developed rapidly in recent years. In the actual agricultural production, the severity of plant diseases and insect pests varies in different locations. In order to reduce the waste of pesticides, pesticides should… read more »
Introduction Spraying drift occurs when the sprayed droplets of agrochemical stray out of the targeted crop field and result in major environmental pollution, toxicities and soil degradation. At the same time, the crops remain unprotected to insect and weed infestations due to the low volume of active chemicals that remain in the field after… read more »
Introduction Sensors that can detect spraying droplets and specify certain spraying parameters such as droplet diameter, volume, classification etc. This data can provide valuable feedback of ongoing operations for the operator regarding how effective the occurring spraying applications are and the potential risk of spray drift. Related Smart Farming Technology Products Spraying Systems Co…. read more »

Introduction To achieve a more precise, ecological and economical pesticide application process, it is important to focus on crop parameters and field variability instead solely on disease occurrence. In fields with different soil quality, crops and water availability the amount of spray needed varies as well. For example, areas with a reduced cop growth need… read more »
